Sarvotkarsha Public Charitable Trust is established in 2010 by renowned vocalist Mr. Rajesh Datar in Pune, which promotes social unity and cultural heritage through music.The trust focuses on preserving and promoting Indian classical, semi-classical, folk, devotional, and cinema music, while embracing fusion forms. It provides a platform for emerging and seasoned artists. Education and talent development are central to Sarvotkarsha’s mission. It conducts seminars, training sessions, workshops, and jam sessions across various music forms, offering scholarships and financial aid to talented musicians from remote areas.It has collaborated with acclaimed artists, including Padma Shri awardees, and hosted events honouring many musical legends.It has organised signature events like Bhajanranga, Shaniwar Wada Mahotsav, featuring performances by renowned musicians and singers such as Pt. Suresh Wadkar, Dr. Radha Mangeshkar, Pt. Sanjeev Abhyankar, Mr. Shaunak Abhisheki and many more. It also organizes shows narrating saintly creations and tracing musical evolution from classical and folk genres to contemporary Bollywood styles.Trust is registered under; B.P.T. REG.NO.ID.5546/PUNE and is also certified under Section 12A and 80G, which offers tax benefits to its donors. Looking ahead,the Trust aims to expand its events, launch structured training programs, and foster national and international collaborations, continuing its role in promoting music and cultural unity.
