Sarvotkarsha Public Charitable Trust, founded in 2010 by renowned vocalist Shri Rajesh Datar in Pune, stands as a cultural movement dedicated to social unity and the preservation of India’s musical heritage. Rooted in tradition yet open to innovation, the Trust celebrates Indian classical, semi-classical, folk, devotional and cinema music, while embracing the creative possibilities of fusion and contemporary styles. At its heart, Sarvotkarsha is a platform of opportunity.a stage where emerging talent meets legendary artistry. Through a wide range of initiatives seminars, immersive training sessions, workshops, masterclasses, interactive jam sessions, and mentorship efforts ,the Trust nurtures musicians at every level. It extends scholarships and financial support to gifted artists, especially those coming from remote or underserved regions, helping them find their voice and visibility.

The Trust has collaborated with acclaimed maestros, including Padma Shri awardees, and has hosted programmes that honour musical legends and their timeless contributions. Its signature events—such as Bhajanrang and the prestigious Shaniwar Wada Mahotsav have featured performances by some of India’s finest musicians, including Pt. Suresh Wadkar, Dr. Radha Mangeshkar, Pt. Sanjeev Abhyankar, Shri Shaunak Abhisheki, and many more.

Sarvotkarsha also curates thematic productions that narrate the works of saints, trace the evolution of Indian music, and showcase the journey from ancient folk traditions and classical ragas to the vibrance of modern Bollywood.

Registered under B.P.T. REG. NO. ID.5546/PUNE and certified under Sections 12A and 80G, the Trust ensures that every contribution supports meaningful cultural initiatives while offering tax benefits to donors.
